As part of efforts to advance the Isonga Program—an initiative aimed at nurturing students’ sports talents—Minister of Sports Nelly Mukazayire conducted a working visit to selected schools in Rwanda’s Eastern and Northern provinces that were recognized for excellence in the program.
The visit included TTC De la Salle and GS Notre Dame du Bon Conseil in Gicumbi District, as well as Nyagatare Secondary School in Nyagatare District.
These schools have been approved to host the second phase of the Isonga Program. Planned activities include the construction of modern sports facilities and rehabilitation of existing infrastructure to maximize their potential in promoting sports development among students.
